Trust and verification

How IFE verifies buyers, sellers, laboratories, hauliers and other users

Irish Fodder Exchange verifies participants so that feed, testing, haulage, payment and evidence workflows can be handled through one controlled marketplace. Verification confirms access to contact methods and checks role-specific business information. It does not remove each participant's responsibility for its own products, services, vehicles, staff, licences, insurance, testing, payment obligations or legal compliance.

Layered checks

Email, mobile, human checks, payment status and role documents are combined where relevant.

Payment confidence

Funds, fees, remittances and commissions use controlled payment-provider and IFE records.

Role-based access

Users see only the information needed for their authorised buyer, seller, lab, haulage or support role.

IFE verification policy statement

IFE requires every participant to use accurate account details and to complete the checks required for their role before using live marketplace functions. IFE may verify an email address, mobile number, payment method, bank or payment-provider account, business identity, authority to act, licence, accreditation, certification, insurance, vehicle/equipment details and other information reasonably needed to protect users and the exchange.

Verification badges, approval status, reviews and workflow records help users understand who they are dealing with, but they are not a guarantee of performance, quality, solvency, legal compliance or future behaviour. IFE may request updated documents, run periodic reviews, use controlled test accounts, suspend access or remove a participant where information is incomplete, expired, misleading or creates a safety, fraud, privacy or commercial-integrity risk.

What IFE keeps private

Email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, bank details, exact farm addresses, laboratory reports, certificates, evidence photos and verification documents are not made public. They are used only for authorised workflow, payment, safety, dispute, audit, legal, insurance, fraud-prevention and compliance purposes.

Buyers, sellers, laboratories and hauliers must not ask another user to share passwords, one-time codes, bank login details, verification links or private documents outside the IFE process. Any request to move verification, payment or communication outside IFE should be treated as suspicious and reported to IFE.
